Description of Issue

.jar file not being recognised by Java Runtime.

Steps to Reproduce

1.Downloaded Version of Optifine
2. Attempted to run installer
3. Java Runtime Exception
4. Updated Java (Oracle)
5. Java Runtime Exception
6. Ran Jarfix successfully
7. Java Runtime Exception
8. Repeated Step 6 and 7
9. Downloaded OptiFine HD U J9
10. Attempted to run installer
11. Installed without issue

OptiFine HD U K1 pre1

Installation Method

Attempted standalone installer, seeing that .jar file not recognised I didnt attempt to drop it into folder.

Other Installed Mods

N/A

Running into the same issue, have seen a few people on the reddit complaining of similar. Maybe a corrupted file?

The installer needs to be ran with java 21 or newer now instead of java 8

I updated Java in my issue log to latest version and it still didn't work.
