Question about Equipment Settings

Hi, how are you? I have a question, my equipment only has this card on the back? But it doesn't get an IP address or anything like that so I can't connect.
Is it necessary for me to have an RS485 card for communication? If so, could you provide the specifications that the equipment needs to have?

Hello! I'm struggling to make it out from the image, but that looks like an RJ45 socket?

If I remember correctly, the devices I was testing with would only get IP addresses via BOOTP, which required a few shenanigans to make work, because most modern stuff doesn't support/enable it out of the box - I ended up grabbing a Raspberry Pi and setting up a dedicated dnsmasq instance (iirc) doing BOOTP to get it working - you might need to do similar, if IP acquisition is your problem
