PVP deaths results in crash and eventual server crash

every time i kill a player, their game crashes and eventually the server also crashes. i've only tried this with enchanted tools, and since the server only goes up on friday and saturday i'll see about extra testing. but for now:

1. get an enchanted weapon (or a weapon)
2. kill someone with it
3. they crash and leave the game as a result

the weapon i was killing people with was a netherite sword with the following enchants:
- sharpness V
- sweeping edge III
- fire aspect II
- looting III
- mending
- unbreaking III

initially thought this was a supplementaries issue, turns out it's related to this mod... did also find this on the map's waypoints, figured i'd include it. someone on the server has xaero's minimap, but it's not on the server.
