Doesnt open at all

When I run Powerdimmer.exe, it "thinks" for a brief moment and does nothing. No icon on the taskbar, nothing on task manager.

Not sure what info I should provide to help track this issue.

Try run from a RAMdisk, this should help...

Will do, but why would I need to run in a RAMdisk? Does it change anything? Is it an actual requirement?

I was having the same issue and for some reason it was Microsoft OneNote that was stopping the app from starting. I had to go into task manager and disable ONENOTEM.EXE as a startup app and it now works fine.
