I've had a fixed license for Xpress solver for several years but it seems that FICO does not want to provide me new license file after my remote desktop hostid changed. They suggested in the meantime I use a Community License which appears to be a free version that comes with some restrictions. Has anyone looked into using this with tau argus?
Second, my current programs run reasonably fast with the open solver - will using a commercial solver provide much benefit? Also, is the open solver now licensed under Apache 2.0 or is it still the academic license?
