Extension stopped working after updating Anki.

As part of generally updating my installed programs, Anki was also updated to Version 25.09.2 today.
I noticed that my answers were corrected the native way (showings lots of ---- and being pedantic about the order) which is very weird. I also tested version 25.07.5, but it didn't resolve the problem. I even checked if reinstalling the extension would help on these versions, but it didn't.
Only going back to 25.02.7, everything starts to work like before.

I'm not quite sure if this relates to the switch from using monkey patch to hooks.
I would really appreciate a fix for this problem, as it seems kinda counterintuitive to be forced to remain on an old version.

Hmm let me take a look and see if I can figure out why it's not working.

I can't seem to reproduce this issue, it's working for me on Linux with Anki 25.09.2. What operating system are you using?

Also, it looks like there were some changes to where Anki stores files in the newer versions, I wonder if this could be related.

I'm using Windows 10 22H2 (Build 19045.6691) to be specific. If it helps, my Anki files are located in C:\Users\<User>\AppData\Local\Programs\Anki (I believe that's the default folder?) as well as in C:\Users\<User>\AppData\Roaming\Anki2\Pierre (these are the extension files)
These path stay the same, when I upgrade to 25.09.2.
