Able to see the UI but it says "processing" and goes on forever

Hi,
I followed your manual installation instructions and I am able to see the UI and I see all the scripts at File > Scripts, However th UI is kinda frozen, It shows a loading circle with "processing" text and it goes on forever. Can this be fixed, any help is much appreciated.

By the way in the registry I only have CSXS.6 and 8 folder, there was no 5.

You have installed it at the wrong location. It needs to go in the extension folder. See the readme for exact location depending on your os. Then let me know if it works

Mine is pasted at Program Files x86 / common files / Adobe/CEP/extensions

My: Program Files /Common files / adobe did not have a CEP folder.

I am using a 64 bit operating system

So what am I doing wrong here?

If you installed my version you also need to make edit in the reg edit. See this link, the part about manual installing: https://github.com/schroef/AnimDessin2#:~:text=Installing%20(manual%20method,run%20without%20blockage
Depending on the version, its need a different number; see this table
Please note that versions after 2020 could need cep 10 or cep 11. You can always add those and see if the newer version does run than
This is because this version is not signed, therefor we need to put photoshop in extension development mode.

Thank you for getting back.
I have removed every installation files from folders and attempted to reinstall. Here is what I did:

1. Pasted your version in: program filesx86/common files/adobe/cep/extensions (mine is a 64 bit, but the program files/common files/ did not have a cep folder but it did in program files x 86 folder. )
2. Did the Debugging thing. Mine was PS 2015 so it had CEP 6.
3. I am able to see animdessin2 in the windows>extension in fact I see 3 options: Animdessin2, Animdessin2 global timelines and Animdessin2 help guides.
4. When I click Animdessin2 it shows the full interface with all the icons, but it's frozen and says "processing" with a loading ring animation. It does not allow me to do anything.
5. when I press Animdessin 2 global timeline it opens a window in one of the side bars but it shows nothing except it says: "no tilmeline"
6. When I press Animdessin 2 help guide, it just opens fine. I am able to see the help guide instructions.
   So that's what I did and where I am currently at.

Could you try to add an extensions folder manually in this address. C:\Program Files\Common
Perhaps there is no folder because you have not installed an extension using zxp

It's weird because according to Adobe's resources, the x64 need it to have int the Program Files(x86) folder. Are there any other extensions there already?

Perhaps otherwise try the use folder at this location. C:\Users<USERNAME>\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\CEP/extensions
Where USERNAME is the name of your win account.

If this doesn't work, we can perhaps try one of the debug apps if your willing to try that

When I have manually added the file CEP/extensions to C:\Program Files\Common Files , nothing changes.

As for the other path (i.e. x86), If I remove the animdessin folder from C;\Program Filesx86\Common Files\CEP\extensions the extension is no longer visible at windows > extensions.

Yes, x86 Path had other extensions. Loads of them I guess, since there are quite a few files.

I did find a CEP/extensions folder in the path you gave at Users/AppData. It had the same effect as the x86 path. Meaning I am able to see the animdessin toolbar UI as long as the animdessin files are either in x86 path or Users path. But in the Users path also, it did not allow me to use it. It says "processing".

Yeah I would love to try debug apps.

Sorry for the late reply. Can you try this CEF app. Its an app which is for developing and debugging. I hope it will show what error is causing this.

Im thinking the jquery library perhaps be the cause. You said you have PS 2015.

than download that CEFclient_WIN.zip and plcae the app in say the same folder as your Photoshop. Start photoshop and open a document which has frame animation. Start the app and when its loaded. add this in the url: localhost:3030
You than get a page with a link AnimDessin2.html ( see screengrab), click the link. It will load page just like chrome web dev does, perhaps you're familiar with that.

Head over to the console tab, see tabs on the top. There you should see errors. Make a screengrab of that for me

I kinda gave up and bought a new machine and it's fine with the new version of windows.

Can i ask what version of Photoshop your running on that machine?
