[BUG] sparc_cli/nstall.sh stalls on a mac

Describe the bug
when launched, it stalls, enter is not accepted

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Go to sparc_cli directory
2. Click on launch install.sh
   wait forvever

Expected behavior
should display 1 and 2 for options
