latest tag should not be an alpha ?

having an alpha pointing to latest is not a good move in my opinion.
just my opinion.

i know people shoul pin version and upgrade in purpose.... but mostly not the case

Specially since the upgrade via docker is a major pain for not tech savy people.

I see your point — the latest tag on Docker points to a new major version that requires a manual upgrade, and I get why that's frustrating. You're right. I'll be more careful about this going forward. The quick 1.x → 2.x jump was a poor architectural call on my part, and I honestly feel bad about the trouble it caused. That said, I do hope 2.x (bichon-blob) will be the stable long-term release, with no more major bumps for years to come. Thanks for your support and understanding!

If you can, please maintain a 1 tag on the latest v1 version, while v2 is being built, so we can get point releases if there's any need (for bugfixes, security updates etc) ❤️

@advancedrubbish Sorry about that, but v1 is no longer supported due to architectural issues. All upcoming updates will move forward on v2, and there won't be any major version changes for the next few years.

Ah, no problem! I'll stick with 1.6.2 until v2 exits alpha and hits a stable point. Thank you for all your work on it! Bichon is a truly great tool and I appreciate it 😄
