AdvMame not working on orangepi PC plus (video issue)

I've been trying latest 4.3 images of retrorangepi

• RetrOrangePi_v4.3_Armbian_5.91_Orangepipcplus_Ubuntu_bionic_dev_5.3.8_desktop.img.7z
• RetrOrangePi_v4.3_Armbian_5.97_Orangepipcplus_Ubuntu_bionic_dev_5.2.14_desktop.img.7z

In they both I'm facing the same issue with advance mame. It's unable to output the video. The output shows: "No video modes available for the current game." I've manually changed video mode using the menu and I'm getting a different error: "Error setting the variable video mode information.". I've also tested different roms. Everything with the same results.

Even I've been manually changing the video_* settings in the advmame configuration file without any luck

I've ended up getting back to 4.2 which works flawlessly

I remember including 3 or 4 standard resolutions in /home/pi/.advance/advmame.cfg, but they were commented (a # in the beginning of the line), except 720p (system default), so what you have to do is uncomment your resolution and comment the others. What is your resolution anyway? Maybe it's specific and needs a custom entry in the cfg file
