Update resets file permissions?

After one of the later updates I couldn't ssh to the Rapsperry I'm running BattyBirdNet on.
I found out, the file permissions for .ssh/ authorized_keys and id_rsa were changed. Fortunately I could still use the webterminal to chmod them.
I had to repeat that after the following updates, wether I started them over the configuration web page or directly via git pull.

Thanks for the info. I have not encountered this. Need to check.
