Not detecting due to full filesystem

[Daytime Update followed by adding MQTT notifications....maybe the cause or ???]

Tonight monitoring MQTT...nothing even though I could see bats...in fact there were no detections. Checked System Info and Mounted Filesystems was red, i.e. full.

/home/batty/BirdSongs/August-2024/12-Monday had 14000+ files, /home/batty/BirdSongs/August-2024/13-Tuesday 14700+ files.

Deleted all those files and rebooted for good measure....Mounted Filesystems now 24%, and detecting again and with MQTT notifications.

/home/batty/BirdSongs/August-2024/13-Tuesday filecount when refreshed is fluctuating 78-117 files.

Why had all those files been retained? There had been a similar issue in BirdNet back in 2022.

Thank you for the info Kelvin! There seems to be indeed an issue with the delete function.
I added a section in the README with info on how to automatically back up the data if you are interested:

Will need to fix the issue with the delete, though.
