i was attempting to use the sitelen pona font nasin nanpa (UCSUR) as one of my fonts and rio wasn't rendering this name properly. it enlarges the dots and doesn't properly enclose the name. i think the dots are enlarged because the characters overlap the nerd font codepoint region (see Sitelen Pona in https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ConScript_Unicode_Registry), and i'm not sure about the name enclosure.
