Wayland error when trying to start version 5.7.0

This has been happening since the recent 5.7.0 update on Ubuntu 25.10 in a Gnome Wayland session:

5.7.0 behaving similarly for me on Ubuntu 24.04

Forcing x11 also works for me

The issue still persists with release 5.7.3.

i had the same error. I have uninstalled raindrop snap and now cannot reinstall it. is it gone from snap?

Yeah, it's gone, and there's no mention of it on https://raindrop.io/download anymore, either.

I vibe coded a fix in !69. I don't know what the plan is for Linux support on desktop or if it'll get merged. Either way, in the mean time I setup a build that I'm using on Ubuntu. It's available here. You can install it with sudo dpkg -i Raindrop.io_5.7.3_amd64.deb

I'm running Fedora Workstation and I am experiencing similar issues. For a while now, the app won't start at all. I have tried to re-install it and everything but nothing works. Does anyone have any updates on what is going on?
