I've also just set up a tracker website at https://pyodide.github.io/are-we-pep783-yet (source code) for a more general case.

It is inspired by https://hugovk.dev/free-threaded-wheels and https://trailofbits.github.io/are-we-pep740-yet, both of which are based on https://pythonwheels.com.

It is an early draft yet and may not be as accurate about ecosystem-level support Pyodide as we might expect it to be, but I have tried my best to capture some distinctions that are worth noting. There are multiple tiers, each with its own colour, and we use data from our recipes here (both compiled packages and patched pure Python packages). The idea is that we can claim that a package such as NumPy is well-supported despite it not having a pyemscripten wheel published to PyPI, because we have a recipe for it in pyodide-recipes, which we have continued to maintain (and it has a Pyodide CI job running on PRs, too). In the tracker's automated form, we cannot, of course, provide manually audited data about a package's level of support. As such, going through the list of packages and feeding my curated annotations into it will be my next goal.

Yes, I mention "they probably already work" for cyan ones, but there are many obvious cases which won't – boto3, grpcio, etc. I think I should adjust the framing while we're at it, but honestly people should really only look at the green and blue colours (33/360).

I wonder if you could update (or add) the chart/list that only shows non-pure-python wheels. 1/360 sounds misleading as most of them would just work
