Describe the bug
On v4.0.1-beta.2 (HA Container, Core 2026.5.4), my thermostat shows the correct current temperature and target temp in Home Assistant, and it picks up changes I make on the Alarm.com website. But changing the mode or setpoint from Home Assistant does nothing — the mode buttons don't respond and a new setpoint reverts to the previous value on the next refresh. The same Alarm.com login controls the thermostat fine directly on the website, so it's not a permissions issue. Lights and alarm arming/disarming work fine in HA. Rolling back to 3.0.15 isn't an option because lights don't appear in that version.

Expected behavior
I would expect if I change the temperature or the fan state, it should take and work. The screenshot shows I've tried to lower the temp to start the air conditioner, but it's just not starting. I have tried everything and have used Claude also to help me. Just FYI...the alarm.com integration controls the lights, so that's all good. I haven't tried the alarm panel yet, but will to make sure more than just lights are working.
