After fresh install on MacOS latest from the curl method (when downloading the dmg or the zip, it says image corrupt, move to bin)

Hi, thanks for reporting both issues!

For the "image corrupt" warning: that's macOS Gatekeeper blocking unsigned apps (bbdump isn't code-signed with an Apple Developer ID yet). You can bypass it with:

xattr -cr /Applications/bbdump.app
I'll add a clearer note about this in the README.

For the role "postgres" does not exist error: to help me reproduce and fix this, could you share a few details?

Did you already have PostgreSQL installed before running bbdump, or did bbdump install it for you during onboarding?
If pre-existing: how did you install it (Homebrew, Postgres.app, official installer, other)?
Did the onboarding flow complete without any error message?
Which database were you trying to visualize ? a local one managed by bbdump, or a remote/existing one you connected to?
That'll help me understand whether the onboarding skipped a step, failed silently, or if the DB was registered with a postgres user that doesn't exist yet.

I did everything from scratch from m the curl cmd, which seems to use brew to install postgres. (By the way it's say installing postgres 17, where has it seems it installed a version 18) I have a docker postgres running as well, not sure if this interferes.
