As instructed on https://github.com/pop-os/pop/wiki#feature-requests I created a discussion thread that can be found at https://www.reddit.com/r/pop_os/comments/1p8ekh0/pop_os_installer_automation/.
I would like to hear System76's view on how Pop!_OS installation could be automated.
Even a simple minimal preseeding feature would be suitable in my opinion.
If you don't know what preseeding is, please see https://wiki.debian.org/DebianInstaller/Preseed.
Another common way is to make Pop!_OS support for Canonical's cloud-init: https://cloudinit.readthedocs.io/en/latest/index.html
If none of those make sense, I'd really like to hear how System76 does the installation for the hardware that they ship.
Common sense would imply that System76 uses some kind of automation for Pop!_OS installation.
I created this issue because so far I have heard zero comments on this unattended installation topic regarding Pop!_OS.
