How can I configure this to act like inches

I would like to know if this library is possible to configure that their should be 8th small steps in between the big steps and you should be able to drag do a small step as well, not just the big steps

if you scroll down to the enter measurments section, you can see that the slider acts like a tape measure of inches and 8th of inch
