clearing elecwhat local cache memory

Apparently, elecwhat on Linux Mint keeps locally stored messages and images/videos that I deleted on whatsapp on my android.
A phone-to-PC sync feature for local deletion, or a feature that completely erases data on the PC and prompts me to reconnect, might be useful.

Hi, I delete a message with video/photos on my android and I see it deleted on electwhat, but video/photo included remain stored locally in the folder /home/io/.config/elecwhat/Cache/Cache_Data whose size continues to increase (2 GB after a year). However, on my phone, with my periodic photo/video cleanup, I see that in Settings - Space and Data - Manage Space, the cache is constant (20 MB).

I'd say "something" remains stored locally on the PC. If I uninstall Elecwhat and reinstall it, the cache folder empties.

This is why I was asking for a feature to clear the local cache on the PC.
