Currently, the video toggle only allows an all-or-nothing behavior: you can either disable all video player features entirely or leave them fully enabled. When enabled, this includes both useful elements like album art and less desirable behavior like automatically playing music videos.
When video features are enabled, album art is displayed as expected, which is the intended and preferred behavior.
However, songs can also default to playing their music video versions, which introduces unnecessary visual playback and increased system resource usage.
There is currently no way to keep album art visible while preventing music videos from playing. It would be helpful to introduce setting that allows album art to remain enabled while disabling music video playback for better performance.
