[knob] obejct missing

The object [knob] (or alternatively [flatgui/knob]) is missing from Pd-l2Ork, but present on Pd-extended.

Thank you for the report, Gilberto. This is a part of the first wave of weeding out redundant objects. I believe we have mknob that replaces most if not all its uses that has been also updated to harness graphics acceleration of pd-l2ork's GUI. Would you please check and confirm this is indeed the case?

Sure, [moonlib/mknob] works wonderfully well in Pd-l2Ork. The problem though is that some patches created by other people using pd-extended do use the traditional [knob] (I would say it's fairly more popular than the moonlib's one). The functionality of both of them in pd-extended is fairly similar, but [mknob] allows the user to set the mouse sensitivity. Would it be possible to create an alias [knob] for [mknob] in Pd-l2Ork to handle these patches from pd-extended?

A symlink sounds like a good idea. Lemme see how hard that would be (as we would possibly have to also deal with prefixes). Perhaps this should be also added to a list of legacy objects as an optional package?

I don't think symlinks work under Windows.
