What Template do you require?

We want to grow the number of supported devices by Template, what would you like to have added?

Eletechsup R4D6F20

It contains 20 relays, 2 digital In, 2 analog In, and documentation can be found at their website.

For the relays I have used the following JSON in the past:

- unique_id: modbus_og_relais_0 
  name: "mod_og_r00"
  slave: 1
  address: 0
  command_on: 256
  command_off: 512
  verify:
    state_on: 1
    state_off: 0

This would create a switch entity which was easy to integrate in all other automations.
With the Eletechsup examples I created a template with entries like this:

But this creates one selection device and one numeric sensor.
I would prefer to have a single switch entity.
The switch entity will also work in the Generic Thermostat integration.

Hi Thorsten,

Sorry it took me a while to get back to you. I have introduced an extra keyword: switch_options for in a template. You can use it instead of 'options'. It is only meant for switches by giving two 'options' in the following way: "switch_options": {"off_value": "Off", "on_value": "On"}}.

I have released https://github.com/partach/protocol_wizard/releases/tag/v0.7.5.1

It is a pre-release so you have to pull in manually via re-download option and choosing the pre-release.
