Personally, I want over time to throw away Applet, and move away from Res class.

My primary aim is bringing Shi-Painter back to the browser, either by transpiling magic or with a js rewrite.
In any case, the codebase must be first cleaned up, so first thing first renaming variables, hunting constants, refactoring, etc.
