API Key / Enterprise Key Confusion

As an ownCloud Administrator who got the Enterprise License Key from a Reseller (ownCloud Gold partner) I do not have a clue, how to perform a proposed App update (which is shown in the market app). These are the steps I perform intuitively:

• The enterprise license key is configured correctly in config.php as described at https://doc.owncloud.com/server/10.2/admin_manual/enterprise/installation/install.html#installation-configuration
• I do not have a Marketplace API Key
• so I create one with my email address
• After having entered the Marketplace API Key, when I want to update the app I receive the error message "Active subscription on marketplace required". The app cannot be updated
• The documentation at https://doc.owncloud.com/server/developer_manual/app/fundamentals/market_app.html does not give any hint if and how the Enterprise License Key and the Market API Key are connected
• The FAQ at https://marketplace.owncloud.com/faq does not explain this procedure either

So the basic issue is:

• How could an Admin with a valid Enterprise License Key connect with Marketplace without any further actions
