Sometimes, the scroll to bottom/top button fails to display the corresponding direction arrow

Sometimes the arrow is missing from the scroll to bottom/top button. I don't have reliable repro steps, but it's an issue that seems to occur in threads with a high frequency of new posts. Sometimes the issue no longer reproduces after a new posts alert.
