Maps not showing

I'm using the build on Github and nothing is showing for the maps tab, regardless of what base layer I choose. I have lat / long included in the metadata. Any thoughts on what I should check / tweak? Thanks.

@caroltilley there is a lot going on in your repository around the map right now!
But, starting at this commit you added map-base: World_Basemap_GCS_v2 , but that base map value doesn't actually exist, so Leaflet can't load any base map and javascript ends up with errors. For map-base you need to choose one of the existing options listed in the comment--those are the only ones that exist in the code and will work.

After that point it looks like you edited the "_include/js/map-js.html", I am not quite sure what all changed. If you just want it to work, I would replace that with a fresh copy of the original version, and fix the map-base value in "theme.yml".

If you want to add a custom base layer, you just follow the example of the others in "map-js.html", first setting up a variable containing the map information (like lines 27-29), then add that variable name to line 42 baseMaps dictionary so that it is available.

Evan - Many thanks for your help and quick responses. As you can see, I'm learning through destruction. :-)

I have changed the value in theme.yml and reset the map-js.html file to the original, but...

When I go to the map tab, I still see nothing, not even the base map. In fact, it's been elusive since I started working on this build, which is why I started tinkering with the values.

And I just figured it out! For some reason, the metadata headings for latitude and longitude were capitalized. The map shows now.
