Highlights

1. This container image can be used by application developers who need to develop and unit test their Oracle NoSQL Database applications.
2. Behind the scene, we are using KVlite, and I added HTTP Proxy support – non-secure configuration
3. This container image was built on Community Edition and published in GitHub Container Registry.
4. Users can clone this repository and build their image or pull the image directly from the GitHub Container Registry

Tests done

1. We tested using the default bridge network, or user-defined bridge network, see README
2. I've deployed an application connected to a container running this image (Docker, docker-compose, and Kubernetes)

There are now 2 container images available, one using a secure configuration and one using a non-secure configuration. The primary difference is in the way access is performed to KVLite. We recommend using the secure setup, albeit additional steps are needed during setup. One advantage to using the secure setup is it gives you exposure to what is needed to set up a secure KVStore.

Note: KVLite is NOT intended for production deployment or performance measurements. We recommend testing with data that is NOT considered sensitive in nature. In other words, do not test with sensitive information such as usernames, passwords, credit card information, medication information, etc.
