Timeline for Project 4.1 #6134
|
Which timeline should be used for writing proposal the official GSoC timeline suggest the final mentor evaluation due date is 31 August https://developers.google.com/open-source/gsoc/timeline while oppia github doc suggest 14 september is the last date https://github.com/oppia/oppia/wiki/Google-Summer-of-Code-2026#dates-and-deadlines. I think these are for standard projects (175 hour). |

Hi @itsadityaaaaa. We require all participants in GSoC for Oppia to have extended timelines, and specifically the timeline that we outline on our wiki page. We do this for a few reasons:
We've found that this approach increases the chance of success of GSoC projects by reducing uncertainty and ensuring adequate feedback can be collected and shared. Thanks for checking on this! |
