4.2 Release Automation - Request for creating releases instructions doc #6132

As outlined in Project 4.2 of the GSoC wiki, the goal is to automate the Oppia app release process. To better understand the current workflow, I am looking for the existing release documentation used by developers. Where can I find the latest version of this guide? |

https://docs.google.com/document/d/1XAoXnQkn2oIAFkd6vY90tn_SSW3J9Eia0_4RhXhJSxQ/edit?tab=t.0 is the latest version of the release documentation, but note that it is a few years out of date so there are portions that aren't correct (and much doesn't align with the release automation requirements). I plan to try and write a new version of this soon, but possibly not before proposals are due. For the most part this document should be used as a reference to understand the release process (the majority of the fundamentals are still correct per that document). |
