I have been involved with a couple review for JOSS, and I think the bot-administered and open approach to reviewing papers is fantastic. It is the way to go nowadays, now that scientific publishing is at risk, largely because the method and tooling is outdated. I think there ought to be more journals managed this way.
In fact, I am thinking about starting a new physics journal based on the same premise and mechanics, does openjournal/ consider hosting additional journals, and if so, what it the process to get the ball rolling?
