Validate end-to-end translation flow for free-text-response in LMS

Summary

After translations are extracted, published, and legacy paths removed, validate that the full translation pipeline works for free_text_response on a live LMS instance — from pulling translations to rendering translated content in the UI.

Tasks

• Inside lms-shell, run make pull_xblock_translations and confirm translations are pulled from translations/xblocks-extra/free_text_response/conf/locale
• Change user language preference to a non-English locale (e.g. Spanish)
• Open a course containing a free-text-response XBlock and confirm the UI renders in the selected language
• Add a screenshot of the translated XBlock as evidence (comment on this issue)

End-to-end translation flow validated ✓

Steps performed

1. Inside lms-shell, ran pull_xblock_translations:

   python manage.py lms pull_xblock_translations --verbose
   python manage.py lms compile_xblock_translations
   python manage.py cms compile_xblock_translations
   

2. Confirmed translations were pulled from:
   translations/xblocks-extra/freetextresponse/conf/locale → conf/plugins-locale/xblock.v1/freetextresponse/

3. Changed user language preference to Spanish (es-419) in Account Settings

4. Opened a course containing a free-text-response XBlock — UI renders in Spanish ✓
