[Feature Request]: Minimalist Sidebar and Advanced Search Engine #580

Description

Describe your suggested feature

The current UI could be more space-efficient for gallery browsing, and the search engine lacks some advanced features that would make navigating massive libraries much faster.

1. Minimalist Sidebar Menu

  • 3-Slashed Toggle Button: Add a button to hide/show the sidebar.

  • Overlay & Maximized View: The gallery area should always occupy the full width of the screen. When toggled, the sidebar should slide out from the left as an overlay on top of the gallery, without pushing or resizing the grid.

  • Focus & Auto-Close: Opening the sidebar should blur the gallery background to help focus on the menu. After clicking any item (e.g., Library, Favorites), the sidebar should automatically close and remove the blur.

2. Advanced Search Engine

  • Search UI: Add an "X" button to clear the search bar instantly.

  • Deduplication: Remove duplicate keywords from the search history, only show unique entries.

  • Search Operators: Support filtering with: "phrase" (exact match), - (exclude), label:, AND, OR.

  • Exclude Internal Files: Do not show individual images that are already inside a CBZ/CBR file. Currently, the search results make it hard to find specific books because it displays every single image file separately.

  • Gallery Result View: After hitting Enter/Search, display the results with covers like in the usual grid view layout.

  • Quick Navigation: Enable middle-click on a search result to open it in a new tab or window, keeping the current search results active for other keywords.
