Some questions about the flatpak

Not a flatpak expert (only have two flatpaks installed and hardly ever use them) but giving it a try to move on from v21.

1. When running with flatpak run com.nzbget.nzbget I get an Error opening terminal: xterm-kitty. This seems to be a terminfo issue (which is installed), not specific to nzbget and goes away with TERM=xterm-256color flatpak run com.nzbget.nzbget. Why does this happen? Is there a better solution?
2. My understanding is that cli options get passed to the program. This doesn't happen. No matter what option I use, nzbget just starts in server mode. When it starts it says it's "using /home/user/.nzbget/nzbget.conf" which doesn't exist. When I move ~/.nzbget to ~/.nzbget/nzbget.conf it doesn't actually read the file anyway. What's going on?

What distro are you running? And did you follow the installation guide?
On Debian Stable it works fine for me. I don't have any terminfo issues.
Regarding the CLI options: The default launcher script currently ignores arguments. To fix this, you need to bypass the script using --command

flatpak run --command=nzbget com.nzbget.nzbget <YOUR_KEYS>

e.g.

flatpak run --command=nzbget com.nzbget.nzbget -s -c ~/.nzbget/nzbget.conf -o OutputMode=Color
