rexpokit dependency not installing

Hi! I am trying to install all of the dependencies for BioGeoBEARS and am running into issues when installing the rexpokit package. It was recently pulled off of CRAN and none of the archived binaries from the Matzke_R_binaries repository (https://github.com/nmatzke/Matzke_R_binaries) are installing because of the error: Error in install.packages : file ‘/Applications/macOS_r-release_arm64_rexpokit_0.26.6.7.tgz’ is not a macOS binary package.

Is there another way that I would be able to install this dependency?

Hi! It's been fixed (it wasn't even an error, it was a Note on some operating systems about a dependency) and re-submitted to CRAN, and been accepted, so the new rexpokit binaries should appear on CRAN shortly: https://cran.r-project.org/web/packages/rexpokit/index.html Not sure about the "is not a macOS binary package" error, I downloaded them from the CRAN binaries; it's possible I made a mistake in file labeling so you could try others.Verson 0.26.6.7 is very old anyway, the most recent version was 0.26.6.14. Alternatively you can install from source, but you need the compilers gcc and gfortran installed to do that which can be a bit of a project if you are new to it. Cheers, Nick
