I’m encountering the following error while running Azure DevOps Migration Tools:
System.AggregateException: One or more errors occurred. ---> Microsoft.TeamFoundation.WorkItemTracking.Client.VerbatimMessageException: TF401289: The current user does not have permissions to create tags. ---> System.Web.Services.Protocols.SoapException: TF401289: The current user does not have permissions to create tag

any help ?

This may sound stupid, but have you checked your user permissions? Is your account in the correct group and does it have the required permissions?
