PG2 is one of my all time favorite games. I currently play Panzer Marshal on a Windows 10 laptop. I downloaded the program from 'archive.org'. It was marked as 'Windows 10 ready'. Until I get more brave, I always play at the 'operational' level. Every time I want/need to 'sell' the rightmost unit on the unit deployment bar, the scenario locks up and I don't know a recovery for it. I have only ever tried to 'sell' a unit before commencing operations in the first turn. As far as I can tell, this bug is not unique to any particular scenario or campaign. During the Cold War, I wrote engineering software for Beltway Bandits for about 15 years, so I realize how complicated the original PG2 source code must have been and assume the current source code, given the truly impressive degree of increase in the scope of the current game, is really, really complicated. So, please understand I'm not complaining. I'm just giving the developer(s) a heads up, on the off chance that no one else has. For my own purposes, I just save the original scenario before proceeding with unit upgrades and buys. Thanks to all for making PM available in the first place!
