It would be handy if there was a self-service way to reset a forgotten password (by reset link sent to your email?).
Also, a 'keep me logged in' option (via cookies?) would be incredibly convenient.

I'll add the ability to e-mail new user details and a password reset feature. To work on your private kronekeeper instance, once I've updated kronekeeper to generate the e-mail messages, you'd need to provide your smtp server details to handle the mail delivery.

You may also want to consider Single Sign On via REMOTE_USER for private instances.

We could probably test and get use from LDAP integration as we're in an AD environment.

NTLM/NTLMv2 will be smoother unless you want to login as someone else from another Windows session, although may not have sufficient info if you need to pull email addresses and names, as it's completely single-sign-on, rather than prompting and just using another authentication system.
