We should consider reporting the number of sequences available for each location panel in a given MLR tab. This information would help users compare patterns between locations and doubly-encode the uncertainty represented by the HPDIs.
We could annotate the number of records in each panel next to the location name like in this mockup:
Or, we could generate a simple Markdown table of counts per location and variant and embed that table at the bottom of each page. Those count data live in the existing MLR JSON files, so we could generate those tables on the fly in the data visualization app, too.
