Why not, I guess? There's some mention of it in the librmn code (using combination of grid type '!' and reference grid 'H'?) although I've never seen native FST files with this projection before. May be useful for encoding some external datasets into FST format, in conjunction with #56. For instance, some NOAA products use this projection (https://www.ready.noaa.gov/archives.php).
