I hate intermittent bugs. You can't predict when they will occur so there's little hope they can be fixed except by pure luck that somebody who can fix bugs stumbles upon the same conditions. Plus there's no way to give clear instructions on how to reproduce the problem. In my case, I have set these properties:
In mpvnet.conf: process-instace=queue
In mpv.conf: pause=yes, drag-and-drop=append
I think these are settings that affect whether opening a video causes immediate autoplay. Perhaps there are more. You tell me. I do NOT want any video to automatically launch when I load it into MPV.NET. Most of the time, it doesn't. But it seems like after playing a few videos, suddenly the next one loads & immediately begins playing without my requesting that. It has gotten so I play whatever & then close the app, opening a fresh instance every time I want to play something, because that always loads the video & does NOT start playing it. It doesn't matter whether I load the video from the dialog within MPV.NET or I invoke MPV.NET from the file manager via a file association. It works the way I want, it works, it works, then suddenly it doesn't.
I would at least be curious to know if anybody else has observed this behavior.
In case it's relevant, I'm running Windows 11 Pro 64-bit version 25H2 build 26200.8328. My CPU is an Intel 13th gen Core i9-13900K. My GPU is an NVidia GeForce RTX 4070. I can provide other hardware specs on request if you deem them relevant.
