Do you have any plan to implement a wrapper for com.apple.screenshotr? It would be really useful for my project.

If not, do you have any suggestions for where to start with implementing it myself?

probably; once iOS8 is out. I'll be doing a big update to make sure everything is working. I'll try to add support.

If you want to do it yourself, have a look at libimobiledevice and crib off that - failing that do some RE on the binaries on iOS and figure out how to talk to them
