It would be helpful to users to have an interface for perform simple operations on meter readings in real time. This is already implemented to some extent in math calculations like "Apparent Power" and "Thermocouple K", which simply apply formulas in the app to readings coming in from the meter, but there is no way for the user to plug in his own formulas.

The plan in my head is to add an option "add formula" to the dropdown in the "math" channel. This would bring up an alert box where the user can enter a formula. This formula would then be presented as another option in the math channel. Long pressing the formula would remove it as an option from the math channel.

Probably it's time to rethink UX and design... it's starting to be not only weird'ish in design but also super-overcrowded with selection boxes covering each pixel of the screen =)

Just recently was digging into the theme - found Voltset (a toy in terms of hardware, but with nice mockups). And Fluke mobile app - could be and idea how to make DMM app attractive
