Ugh, unfortunately there isn't a timeline for this yet. Sorry! We do need it though... that being said, have you checked out this module at all yet https://github.com/acktie/Acktie-Mobile-Android-Barcode ?

I like your module a lot better on iOS, and the Acktie one has stopped support and does not work on Android marshmallow anymore.
