Problem Description
We are running the Microsoft Zero Trust Assessment (ZTA) in a customer production environment. The script has been executing continuously for more than 3 days and is currently stuck while processing certain user objects, with no further progress observed.
Despite the process still appearing as “running,” there is no increase in output data and the assessment does not advance beyond the same users. This has been repeatedly observed during execution.
Impact
The assessment cannot be completed, blocking security posture evaluation and reporting.
Extended execution time introduces operational and stability risks in a customer environment.
The issue affects business‑critical timelines and must be investigated urgently.
