Support for .NET 9

.NET 9 has been released in November, 2024, with .NET 10 coming in the next months.

At the same time Coyote does not support any of the above, which makes it impossible to integrate with the recent project.

Used with .NET 9 code the CLI seems to work, but it's hard to say if it's going to be reliable, and won't fail on some recent framework features.

Is that update planned? or maybe only for the next LTS version (.NET 10)?

I am using dual release to be able to use coyote. .net 8.0 and .net 9.0 but many conditional compilations required on Lock to backport to .net 8.0. The project looks like abandoned since 2024.

I modified it to support .net 10, merged some PRs and implemented some requested features for myself covering my own needs. I have like 200 coyote tests. Hardest part was .net 9 since the locking semantics changes a little bit in that version but almost nothing with .net 10. Added some new models etc. Updated re-writer etc. Tested working fine. I could publish that, but only if people are going to contribute. I work in other things in my company(startup) and cannot be maintaining alone.

Ok. Let me check licenses and things like branding to verify I do not violate anything, to drop the fork and add you as contributor.

Yes, I did research for a new name to avoid any branding issue and created github repo. Bering working a lot lately.

Just published, I am willing to add maintenance example bugs reports or take PRs for bugs. If you see any defect, please open an issue or send PR. I am willing to move to .net 11 once it becomes more mainstream. Not looking to add features at least for now. I added some of the ones requested in the issues section here (you can read history document to check the features I added).
