Exit Break with ⌘⏎ / CTRL + ⏎

Ability to perform an “exit break” or “line break with exit” which moves the cursor to the next block or field:

Mac	⌘ + Return (⌘⏎)
Windows	Ctrl + Enter

Not sure I understand this behavior. We currently use ⌘ + Return (⌘⏎) for a newline <br> inside a text property. the cursor stays in the same field but moves on the next line (after that <br> character.

Since cmd+enter is also used in many apps as a shortcut to SAVE, we should maybe change the new line behavior to shift+enter.

Anyways, i still don't understand "exit break" - are there existing apps using this where i can see the behavior?

Imagine you are in a nested structure, e.g. buttons node array in story node, now you want to exit this structure to the next sibling of the parent. Currently your need to press 10+ the arrow down key (depending on the number of nodes in an array and your current node caret position in that array) … or use your cursor.

With e.g. CMD + ENTER you can exit this structure immediately.

I have seen this first in a Dental Patient Management software.
Apple Notes does it too: press CMD + ENTER and you exit to the sidebar, where you can then navigate to another note.
In other text editors, plate supports this: https://platejs.org/docs/exit-break.

It's definitely more of a power user feature.
