Issue-001 List index out of range when applying patches

After removing on trailing newline in the patch file test/patches/applied/remove-offset.patch. directly running of this patch will result in an index out of range error.

So it seems like there must be a new line at the end of the patch file, and each line under the hunk ( there is a line range described in the prefix ) must start with ”+“, "-" or a space.
