Compile error wxSecretStore on bmx-ng

It looks like there might be a prob with PC charset or similiar in sources for wxSecretStore When compiled under Ubuntu 18 (see output):

On Win 10, compilation works well - but no example will compile. F.E. aboutbox.bmx falis with "overriding method does not match any overridden method. Detail: Return type is Void, expected Int." for method OnInit()

Hi. Yes, there's currently an issue with wxSecretStore on Linux, it seems.
I'll disable it for now until I get it fixed - there's a new release of wxWidgets anyway, so I hope to get the fix in with that.

re examples
Most (if not all) of the samples should build without errors on NG. But you are having problems with all of them?

I deleted wxmax in mods, did a fresh clone, installed libgtk2-dev and gstreamer-dev, then recompiled all modules - worked this time. I can compile some examples now - anyhow, when it comes to linking, I get errors like (here for absolute.bmx):

I guess this is due to the precompiled static libs that don't match my compiler? I'm on Ubuntu 18.04, using gcc v7.3.0

So - how do I rebuild those static libs using my gcc version?
