Printing issues (page margins overlap) #717

Description

@rauferd

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Open a regular PDF file (example attached) in atril 1.26.2 with proper page dimensions matching the paper installed in the printer (DIN A4 in my example)
  2. Print the file via Ctrl+P or using the menu using default settings

Expected Behavior

The PDF file should be printed. (And still is printed when using older atril binaries or other pdf viewers.)

Actual Behavior

The file is not printed. No error message appears.

Note that other programs (xpdf, zathura, ...) can print the same file on the same printer without any issues.

Error Output

Looking into /var/log/cups/error_log, I can find the following entries:

E [05/Jul/2026:10:29:03 +0200] [Job 4605] page margins overlap
